π Mount And Blade 2 Bannerlord How To Become A Mercenary
Another way to obtain influence is to build a Forum in a settlement you own. A Forum passively provides your main character with at least one influence a day and steadily increases as you improve
A mercenary watchman. Mercenaries are hired, often very powerful soldiers that can be paid to fight by your side. They are easily found in taverns, but they can also be acquired by attacking caravans and then convincing the surviving caravan guards to join you. You can also rescue them from parties that have destroyed caravans.
2: After you hit 50ish highish level guys, become a mercenary for a weaker faction (they pay better). Farm stacks of up to 75 enemy noble units for reknown (can easily get double digits per battle). You need at least level 3 clan level anyway, level 4 is easier. 3: Get some pottery workshops in Battania going. Pen Cannoc is pretty good.
Best way to make money is war loot and prisoners. Join a kingdom as a mercenary and join them in battles. The money you make from loot and prisoners is the most prosperous thing you can do. Other than that smithing can give you lots of denars but itβs painfully boring and repetitive. 1.
I mean I feel like itβs not one or the other, itβs one then the other. In the end becoming a vassal is going to be a natural step in most cases. Being a merc is only viable for so long unless you have a different specific goal in mind that precludes becoming a vassal entirely.
Of course, there are other options, too. If you already own a settlement, you can try to be an independent faction. Or you can increase your Clan Tier and ask to become a vassal, which leads to bigger rewards depending on your influence. From there, the world is yours for the taking in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. You can declare yourself the
You hire mercenaries by talking to them and asking them to work for you. A mercenary's payment is dependant on the influence they gain. For example I recently was being a mercenary clan and had a lot of influence, so I lost around 5-6 influence per day, but gained around 1.5k gold a day. The same applies in revert, if they are the ones working
You cannot currently form a kingdom without doing the main quest. There aren't any hidden requirements to get that far. Talk to 10 out of like 18 possible nobles for stage 1, talk to 2 people that never leave their respective towns and defeat a nearby bandit hideout for stage 2, meet some clearly spelled out conditions to complete stage 3 and gain the ability to form a kingdom.
1 i keep my compsnions busy on other stuff (in parties or governing) 2 you dont lose that much relation in fact it might as well be nothing. 3 look for richer villages (their prosperity) the richer it is the more you will raid but they will have more militia and take longer to raid. 4 mercs are β₯β₯β₯β₯β₯ as they are. #11.
Only because it is currently bugged, you are supposed to be allowed to leave amicably after 30 days or renew your contract. this is the wrong way. doing it like this will give you -20 to the faction. instead press k and leave kingdom at the top right. the ends your merch contract without the negatives. I think you need to not be in a war.

May 6, 2021. #12. Yes, Kingdoms should have a mercenary clan limit, vassal clan limit and Kingdom tiers. They have clans with tiers, but Kingdoms have no tiers. Kingdoms should get tiers.
Even grinding-up relations with villages known to spawn Noble recruits (using the Settlement Icons mod, highly recommended btw), I'm having a hard time having more than a few in my army at any given time. Upon loading a save many seem to be available, but after playing for a few in-game days the replacement recruits seem to generally be drawn mostly from the faction's regular troop tree.
1 - If you become a mercenary, then your employer's enemies will be your enemies 2 - Not until you become a vassal and get your fief from where you can send caravans 3 - The fief is already offered to a vassal, not a mercenary - this is an increase in status and the opportunity to participate in decision-making. 4 - Almost everything.
Im currently playing as Mercenary to fight the snowballing that essentially voids the savegame and get penalized for doing this. The problem is that you do battle for a faction and do not receive any relationship bonuses for any of the lords but leaving drops ALL lords relationship by 20 which makes no sense.
